Lower Legs, Feet & Ankles

Start your recovery

Here at Sportswise, our experienced podiatrist Glen Foley offers both general podiatry services and biomechanical assessments.

Biomechanical Assessment including Gait Analysis
Glen will complete a comprehensive whole body musculoskeletal assessment including neurological and vascular testing to evaluate how your pain/dysfunction is impacting movement. This will incorporate a detailed gait analysis to look at unique walking/running strategies which may be contributing to your injury. We ask you to bring a selection of your typical footwear including any sports specific shoes along with any insoles or orthotics you may be using.
General podiatry

These appointments are for general and diabetic footcare. Whether you need routine treatment for corns, callus's or nail issues or more complex support for diabetic foot health, our experienced podiatrist is here to help.

As part of the assessment you will receive a full neurological and vascular assessment of your feet and given any necessary footcare/footwear advice.

Specialist ingrown toenail treatments and surgery

In-growing toenails can be a persistent and painful problem, and left untreated can lead to infections requiring antibiotics. Sometimes conservative treatment such as changing footwear, salt water baths and general Podiatry care isn’t enough to resolve the problem. This is where minor surgery to correct the nail is very effective.

Our ingrown toenail treatment is designed to provide long-lasting relief and prevent recurring problems. We offer tailored solutions to suit your needs, from professional nail care to minor surgical procedures that remove the affected section of the nail.

With years of combined experience and a reputation for results-driven care, we’re proud to be recognised as one of Sussex’s leading and most trusted healthcare providers.
